Sarah Delany

Sarah discovered yoga in New Zealand in 2010 as a means to balance the intense demands of marathon running. While yoga helped heal some of her injuries, what kept her coming back to the mat was the discovery of yoga as a means to foster a healthy relationship with herself. Sarah is trained in Scott Anderson’s Alignment Yoga, a style rooted in the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions combined with principles of anatomy to create a practice uniquely designed to benefit the Western body and mind. AY is a grounding, therapeutic practice that is safe for all body types yet still offers a physical challenge. Sarah seeks to empower her students to realize the core message of yoga: you have nothing to fix, you are already whole. When not doing yoga, Sarah is either running, dancing, hula hooping, gardening, cooking, or working as an Occupational Therapist.
